The 2020 Vision

Parliament Launch

In March 2019, the Dignity Project was officially launched at the Houses of Parliament, with several MPs and delegates attending. Dignity Project founder Becky Murray shared how her goal is to reach 20,000 girls by the end of 2020.

The event was supported and attended by Minister for International Development, MP Harriett Baldwin. She said: “The UK government is committed to ending period poverty by 2030. We also work to deter modern slavery and to keep girls in school. The Dignity Project completely aligns with those objectives and I’m delighted to fully support it.”

The 2020 Vision

Since its formation in 2016, the Dignity Project has reached over 17,000 girls across Africa, Asia and South America. We aim to of reached 20,000 girls by the end of 2020.

At the end of 2020, a small group from the UK will be heading out to India to work with our partners on the ground to take the Dignity Project to 3,000 girls and fulfil the 2020 vision. But as always, we need your help! To take one girl through the Dignity Project, it costs $10. That means for this trip, we need to raise $30,000. If you can help us, even if it just one girl, please head to the ‘Donate’ button below!
